I peeked around the corner, into Kelsey’s room, to find her writing a to-do list. No one asked her to do this, which is the cutest part. She started organizing her thoughts and the things that she needed to do in a given day, and then she put that up on her wall. She’s actually been in there for a solid 20 minutes, and there are now five papers on the wall. I had no clue she had so much to do!
The best part is that one of her to-do checklist items is to RELAX. Good for you, Kelsey! In fact, I’m going to take a cue from my daughter and pencil that into my day too.
She took the dry-erase calendar I had laying in the laundry room (unused because I keep saying I’m going to use this calendar and I never get around to it) and put that on her bed. I think her intention next is to create a calendar to remember all of her monthly events. I swear, who is this kid?! Brilliant! I am actually so impressed, I’m going to take her to Target to see if we can find some organizational things for her room to help her out.
